It’s my mission to support others as they challenge themselves to grow, become more self-aware and learn life’s lessons toward personal freedom.

I am a corporate and securities lawyer called in 2002 with both external and in-house experience and have been directly involved in business building with many of my clients.

When it came to building my own business – or law practice- from a solo firm to a small law firm I struggled. I didn’t have the skillsets needed to grow, scale and manage my law firm. Ultimately, it was a humbling experience that taught me a valuable life lesson – it’s ok to ask for help. Through my struggles I realized the advocacy skills we learned to be good lawyers and the belief that my IQ could help me figure it out on my own – were simply not enough.

Once I let go of the shame and guilt associated with being unable to build without help and took responsibility for my learning, everything began to change.

As a lawyer in the business world, I was fortunate in that I was exposed to some awesome transactional or in-house work with entrepreneurs of public and private companies. Some included negotiating a billion-dollar mine development and financing, an international joint venture, numerous capital market financings, and clients ranging from billionaires, high profile professional athletes, Hollywood personalities and many great everyday people.

I built and scaled my business, and eventually took a year off. I wrote a book, began coaching and was elected as a Regional Bencher for the Law Society of Ontario – which ended in May 2023.

It’s been an awesome ride and some great learning.
